Welcome to the pages of the Dean and Mrs. No. Name household – you’re more than likely to have arrived here by accident, as the site is set up primarily to share occasional musings and travel photos with family and the (very) odd friend. If you are neither of those (or indeed a closet R&B fan), then the chances are that you would probably rather canoe up the side of Everest wearing nothing but your favourite snorkel and flippers than stick around here for too long.
Having finally stopped wandering from town to town and from job to job before he got found out, the man of the household needed something to do on retirement (apparently); initially the intention was to fulfil a long held dream to breed and tend the three-toed sloth in a rural hamlet in Suffolk. The calamitous news that even with considerable financial inducement only the two-toed sloth was prepared to consider residing in Suffolk (and then only on Thursdays and Bank Holidays) has led to a forced change in direction and to the development of this site. In case you’re still with us, the three areas of the site highlighted below may be of some interest to the casual visitor.
So Why The Redandwhite Rag I Hear You Ask???
Well, as the homeowners are lifetime supporters of Sheffield United and Sunderland, we can at least agree on the colours for the website. Moving on from that, the host name seemed a natural progression. However, the sustained mediocrity and paucity of ambition is daunting. Even if (or currently when) either team achieves premier league status, it appears only to offer the distinction of immediate relegation with absolutely no evidence of a long term plan, imagination or half arsed vision by the club’s hierarchy, other than to bleed the club dry.
It was ever thus…but how the tables are turned. We now have Sheffield United lose to a last minute winner from, would you believe, Sunderland, in the 24/25 play-off final and, in a shocker scenario, sees Sunderland take their place in the Premiership. Oh and an update – Wilder sacked, Neves appointed, six straight defeats, Neves sacked and Wilder reappointed….owners bat crazy!!!
P.S and finally – there is a hidden page on the site which overviews two more ‘hobbies’ of mine – but where is it? 😉
